Drop to school
Never thought that I would have to do this chore. It was 13th June my birthday and also my daughter Gayatri's first day in the playschool. First day in the school is always special for parents who come to drop their child going to school the first time. My emotions wavered from anxiety to excitement. Finally it was time to bid her goodbye with a heavy heart I turned to leave. I tried best to ignore her reaction when I leave her in the class. But alas, I could not ignore those tears and had to wait in the class till she was comfortable. Gradually I made up my mind that I had to become strong so that I do not become an impediment in my child's growth. This went on for three to four days by which she enjoyed going to school and did not yearn for me anymore.
